Use your own photos to teach kids how to spell. Assign words to images. You can even teach using words from other languages. You’re in control of what they learn. Make it a game!

Spell Cheese is an educational spelling game that lets you use your own photos to teach kids. Unlike other apps, we don’t limit you to the built in images. You can even use photos of your relatives, vacation photos, kid’s toys and even words not in the dictionary.

Spell Cheese is designed for you to spend time with kids. Not only does it enable you to share photos with them but it encourages you to be there to help them identify the images and associate the corresponding spelling.

With Spell Cheese we give you control of what you want to teach by allowing you to select your own images and assign your own words.

Features:
• Colorful letters with creative patterns to better allow children to focus
• Randomized game instances for even more replayability
• Star rewards to keep track of achievements
• Easily add and sync images using Dropbox
• Letter accents to teach kids words from other languages

Suggestions:
• Use photos of relatives to familiarize the child with their names and faces
• Use photos of your vacations to encourage the child to exercise his/her memory
• Use photos of them doing various activities, their drawings and their toys to keep them engaged and excited to learn and play
• Use photos of objects they do not know to familiarize them with those words and objects
• When learning a new language, it’s great to start early. Use Spell Cheese to teach them words not found in the dictionary and even borrow from other languages.

How to:
• To add an image, simply tap on the add button in the gallery view, select or take a new photo and assign the initial spelling.
• You can edit this later on by tapping on the edit button while playing.
• At each instance, the spelling you assigned for the selected image will be jumbled up and the kid will have to arrange the letters by tapping them.
